After a break, I am back with a new and amazing list of top 10 Sci-fi animes. I hope you’ll all be satisfied with it.
Overall the decades of the revolution in the anime industry the Scifi genre have been boosted through some of the astonishing animes, till now. Let it be time travel or humanoid and robots or space fights or any other modern theme, all are topped by some mind-blowing animes which made the earth slipped from under the feet of the viewers.
Top 10 Sci-fi Anime are:-
1. Steins Gate:-
This anime is what I can call a full packed anime series in all aspects, may it be the depth of plot or the characters, the occurrence of events, a salty love story of the protagonist, the comedy part, and the most important, the time-traveling part. This series of two seasons and a movie is something viewers feel worth watching.
The guy named Okabe Rintarou who’s a self-proclaimed "mad scientist" called Hououin Kyouma.HE indulges himself in his hobby of inventing prospective "future gadgets" with fellow lab members: Mayuri Shiina, his air-headed childhood friend, and Hashida Itaru, a perverted hacker nicknamed "Daru. But everything changes when Okabe sends a message to the past to save a girl named Makise Kurisu leading to the discovery of time travel.
This series consists of an evil organization SERN and different timelines all related to time travel to save his friends and leading to the devastating consequences which make Okay think that why did he discover time travel?.
2. Cowboy Bebop:-
This anime shows the time of 2071, where the Earth has been abandoned by humanity due to its uninhabitable nature. Humans have scattered to the corners of galaxies and move in spaceships under the presence of Inter Solar System Police.Spike Spiegel is a bounty hunter with an easy-going attitude and some deadly skill at martial arts. With his partners, Jet Black, and later Faye Valentine as well, they make a living by catching bounties and winning rewards off them.
How they move on thrilling adventures that unravel each member's dark and mysterious past little by little, is something that would attract an anime lover very much.
3.Mobile Gundam Suit Wing:-
This anime covers the space colonies fiction fighting and an Earth where people have colonized but are forcibly ruled by The United Earth Sphere Alliance(UESA), a military organization with an iron fist for several decades.Several colonies have come together to end this dictatorship of the UESA and Oz, they launch a mission named “Operation Meteor”. The space colonies move five powerful mobile suits ridden by their pilots, made up of virtually indestructible material called Gundanium Alloy, to Earth to win freedom.
But how one of the pilots gets himself in an unavoidable flickering situation, meeting a girl and how their lives change, the viewers would definitely want to watch their journey.
4. Parasyte: The Maxim:-
A plot exciting enough to sway away the hearts of the viewers, thrilling enough to leave them with goosebumps and a rare theme with an amazing storyline is totally what this anime has, to offer the viewers.One night, a parasitic alien species invades Earth, taking over the brains of human hosts by entering through their ears or noses. One of them attempts to crawl into Shinichi’s ear but ends up in his right hand without taking control of his mind. And now they coexist as Shinichi and Migi and have to work together to survive from the attacks of other parasites.
How they battle together forming a bond and dealing with the hell situations, viewers are going to stick to their screens.
5. One-Punch Man:-
This is a story of Saitama, a person with the hobby of being a hero and saving people from the villains. Just like that, it could have been another normal anime plot just like any other, but it’s not.In the world of the hero, villains, and normal people, Saitama had a childhood dream of becoming a hero. To fulfill that, he trained his ass off for three years leading to the loss of his hairs. But now, he has become so strong that he can defeat any villain with an only single punch, still not known by anyone, making him bore without anymore thrill in his life.
But as a 19-year-old boy, Genos, a cyborg, requests him to be his disciple and join the hero association to be a certified hero, Saitama agrees with the hope of being known by the people and being famous.
They embark on a new journey, a more thriller, and bewildering one.
Believe me, this anime is worth watching and investing time.
6. Ghost in the Shell:-
An anime that revolves around the time when technology has advanced a lot and people are transplanting machine parts in place of flesh and bones, like a cyborg.This technology boosts both the light and dark parts of human society. Evil people use this tech to commit dangerous crimes and hurt the citizens and the government. To stop this type of crime, the government has initialized Section 9, an independently operating police unit that deals with such highly sensitive crimes.
Major Motoko Kasunagi is an officer in Section 9, an elite, currently on the trail of the Puppet Master, a cybercriminal who hacks into the brains of cyborgs to obtain information and to commit other crimes.
7. Psycho-Pass:-
The process of passing justice in Japan has changed and the government has enforced the Sibyl System, which determines the threat level of every citizen by testing their mental state and will for signs of criminal activity, popularly known as their Psycho-Pass.Inspectors and Enforcers, who are latent criminals given according to freedom to carry out inspector like activities, are the one who prevails justice under the Sibyl system often with lethal force.
Akane Tsunemori, a young woman with an honest desire to uphold justice, enters into this system but with time, she finds that the Sybil system’s judgment is not correct.
What would she do to bring a change in the judicial system and save the innocent people, for that you have to watch the anime? So sit down and go on.
8. Neon Genesis Evangelion :-
It revolves around the time of 2015, where Earth and its civilization both are on the edge of destruction. Angels have been attacking, and NERV, a secret organization under the United Nations, has built Evangelions, giant machines to kill the angels, and save humanity.
The 14-year-old boy, Shinji Ikari suddenly becomes the pilot of Evangelion Unit-01 with the fate of mankind on his shoulders.
What’s going to happen with Shinji? Would he be able to save mankind?
And the answers to many other questions lie with the anime, So watch and enjoy.
9. Akira:-
The year 1988, a mysterious boy with psychic powers appears in Tokyo, and is on a rampage, ignites fuse leading to world war III. To save the city and people, he was captured and never to be heard from again.
The time has changed, it’s 2019, the city has rebuilt known as “Neo-Tokyo”. Shoutarou Kaneda the leader of a biker gang “the capsules” always are in constant conflict with their rivals "the Clowns.". His friend Tetsuo is injured in an accident and taken to a top-secret government facility where some psychic powers develop inside him. Instead of using them for the good of the society, he uses for evil.
To stop history from repeating itself, the government seeks to quarantine him.
But would they be able to do so?

10. Legend of the galactic heroes:-
This anime shows the long going battle between 2 major empires fights for their beliefs and ideals.The two interstellar superpowers, the Galactic Empire and the Free Planets Alliance, both having new leaders arising as Reinhard von Lohengramm, and the FPA's reserved historian, Yang Wenli.
Reinhard supports the autocracy rule whereas Yang is a strong supporter of democratic ideals.
What will happen when these two ideas collide?
