Anime Review: Bleach (Plot, Effects on the society and Future Prediction) Review #3 (8.9/10)

Hey Guys, here I am with my third amazing review on an anime which is soon going to take off for its last journey. Feeling excited about its reentry after such a long time but at the same time grasped by the fear that it will not air again ever after this. You all run your horses to find which anime I am talking about until I begin.

What happens after you die? Ever given it a thought?

For some, it may be yes and for some, it may be a no. People believe that souls transfer to heaven or hell, in the account of their deeds performed when they were alive. But sometimes, they get stuck in the human world itself as consumed by negative emotions, consequently turning them into a kind of freakingly hideous monsters, which goes on a rampage and eats other souls, destroying the natural process of after death.

So, now the question is who’s going to purify them and the answer “the Soul Reapers”.

Yeaahhh, now it must be clear to you all that the chosen anime is none but one of the famous three of this astonishing anime universe i.e. BLEACH.

Well, moving to the plot now:-

Plot:-

Bleach, written by Tite Kubo, revolves around the adventurous and twisty life of a unique teenager Ichigo Kurosaki. Well, you should be thinking, what’s so unique about him?...  Though born as a human, he has been able to see and converse with the spirits since his childhood.

Quite abnormal, right...  But this abnormality rises exponentially, when he and his two little sisters are attacked by so-called Hollow( evil hideous spirits), though, they could have easily survived the situation as saved by a shinigami(soul reaper), Rukia Kuchiki. But a twist drills the scene, leading to the transfer of powers from Rukia to Ichigo. That’s where our protagonist awakes.

And now, Ichigo can turn himself in a soul reaper too but as being a human first, there are some complications. The plot moves on as Soul society receives the info about Ichigo gaining powers from Rukia, leading Rukia to get publicly executed.

Now what happens next, you have to find it out. But believe me, this plot is only beginning of the series of 366 episodes, so you gotta understand that it’s a lot deep than this and contains high potential. How our hero gains new powers through countless breath skipping fights, may it be Bankai or something else. You are going to get thrilled. SO WATCH IT.

REVIEW:-

Bleach anime has a high reputation among the anime universe. It’s placed together with Naruto and One piece at the top as “THE BIG THREE”. But as I have shown you before the pros-cons relationship, it definitely applies here also. So let’s start with the review...

Talking about the plot first, Bleach has shown a quite amazing beginning which amuses the viewers. The first arc (episode 1-63) projects the soul society and its captains, their differences, and daily life. Despite that the base of the plot is nothing new, the concept of shinigami with humans, their roles and powers, it might not be able to provide you that “new” chill.

Though, the plot gets really down after this arc, attributed to “the fillers” and the irregular expansion in its characters. The previous story contributes to the new one but sometimes it lacks commitment leading to the uselessness of side characters like Ichigo’s friends Chad and Orihime.

But when it comes to fighting, the action scenes are really awesome and animation quality has also boosted with time. The powers of the Captains and Lieutenants expands when they use “Bankai”. Covering the villains, the hollows have their own awesome moves and spells especially the Arrancars. Considering all the fights, the best ones are “Ichigo Vs Aizen”, “Ichigo Vs Ulquiorra”, “Kyoraku Vs Stark” and more. So be focused when you watch Bleach.

The openings and endings are really bewildering. They literally will make you stop and watch all of it. The production house has done a lot of hard work in it as shown in “Change”, “Asterisk” and others. The soundtracks will make you love them.

Bleach is a full packed series and attracts the viewers towards it. So, I would recommend you to watch it.

EFFECTS ON SOCIETY:-

Those who have watched Bleach, know about it and those who haven’t, let me tell you, this series focuses on bonds between people. It may be friendship, sibling, dad-son, dad-daughter, etc. The characters themselves teach you to nurture your bonds and grow them strong.

As our protagonist, Ichigo makes his mind to save Rukia from Soul Society, though known the fact that he would have to fight the Captains who are overpowerful compared to him, he still skids there, ‘cause she was his friend.

There have been other moments too, where he risked his life just to save his cared ones. This really gives a wide shot to the viewers especially the teenagers.
Though there are some scenes which take the help of fan service to make people laugh. Irrespective of them, it is loved by all age groups.

Rating:-
8.9/10

Present/future work:-

Bleach series consists of 366 episodes till now. It’s the last episode aired in 2012, making it 8 years till now.

But it’s manga has been completed with the “Thousand Year Blood War” arc. And It’s damn awesome. Some characters will leave, some will remain and fight. A new villain will enter the Bleach universe.

That’s some spoiler above.

But, now the officials of Bleach have confirmed that the anime adaptation of the “Thousand Year War” arc” has started and it will soon be aired.
Here, I am pretty excited and eagerly waiting for it. The Otakus are too.

At last, watch the series guys, before the last season is aired, and then feel the thrill of the new arc:-

THE THOUSAND YEAR BLOOD WAR
